Another Wife Bites the Dust

When last we saw Kenya, she was dangling over a gaping hole in the ground.  Would she hang on to the Coach bag or fall to her doom?

The ground gave way and Ramona, who was still sipping on her Pinot, saw Kenya drop below the Versace heels at the edge of the giant merchandise pile.  She lunged forward off her bar stool to help, but stopped. She sat back down, held her glass in the air and took a victory sip.

“Two down.” she said

Now that’s a cold competitor.

Kenya wasn’t giving up that easily.  She swung her leg up and over the edge of the chasm and started pulling herself to safety when her Miss USA banner slipped off her body and fell.  She watched the symbol of her past wriggle down through the air, all glittery and full of memories, until she couldn’t stand it any longer.  Planting her other foot on the wall, she launched into a back flip and dove into the darkness to retrieve her prize.

“WooHoo!” Ramona cheered from her new location on top of the bar.

The cannon sounded and Brandi, who was racking up some major purchases on Rodeo Drive, looked up in time to see a picture of Kenya.  She smiled and handed the cashier her charge card.  As she turned to leave the shop, she spotted Teresa with her arms full of shopping bags.

She turned around and disappeared out the back.

Teresa continued to make her way down Rodeo and was looking for a place to stash her purchases so she could buy more, when she came across an alley.  She was heading for the dumpster, when Brandi stepped out to block her path.

“We were supposed to meet 15 minutes ago at the cafe.” Brandi said.

“Sorry, I got hung up buying all this stuff for us. I was just on my way, just now.”

Teresa glanced in her bags and shifted them from arm to arm.

“MmmHmm.”

Brandi grabbed some of Teresa’s bags and they headed past the center pile, now surrounded by a waterless moat, on their way to 5th Avenue.  Teresa glanced over at the bar to see if Ramona was still there, but the only thing at the bar was a half bottle of opened wine and an empty glass.

Ramona was gone.

Where do you think Ramona went?  Will Brandi and Teresa’s alliance hold?

Come back next week to find out.

  1. Brandi and Teresa are on shaky ground. Teresa’s got something up her designer sleeve no doubt. Ramona on the other hand seems like a wild card. Looking forward to the next installment! :)
